“How I Write an Ethical Will” – Online – Thursday, August 22, 2024 (2 pm – 3:30 pm central time)

Description: As an experienced death doula and newspaper columnist, I will delve into my vast experience writing ethical wills. We will examine their significance and guidelines for how you can write them.

Upon completion of this program, you will:

∙ Understand the essence of ethical wills.

∙ Recognize the importance of legacy projects, including life stories, legacy letters, memory boxes, and ethical wills.

∙ Recognize, demonstrate, and understand how ethical wills help the dying and those who love them.

∙ Learn the step-by-step guide for how to write ethical wills.

∙ Recognize the ways that death doulas, care teams, and loved ones use ethical wills to help older adults communicate their values to future generations.
