This 90-minute session is available for 1.5 CEUs through the Continuing Education Institute of Illinois. It’s also a great session if you’re a caregiver, patient, or curious participant. Purchase the session and then I’ll be in touch to schedule it at a convenient time for you! Each session also includes an “Ask a Doula” Q&A at the end where I’ll answer all your questions.

In this session, I examine historical discrimination by medical providers against the LGBTQ+ community. We also delve into ways that queer-informed death doulas advocate for and serve this community at end-of-life.

∙ Recognize, demonstrate, and understand 4 ways death doulas serve the LGBTQ+ community.

∙ Learn about other resources for older LGBTQ+ adults.
